Nebraska Employers--Are You Ready for September 15th?

The Nebraska Healthy Families and Workplaces Act goes into effect on October 1, 2025. But before then covered employers face an important compliance deadline:

  • By September 15, 2025, employers must provide employees with a written notice of their rights under the Act.
  • By September 15, 2025, employers must also display a poster containing the same information in a conspicuous location at the workplace

Now is the time to make sure your organization is ready. Meeting the September 15th deadline is the first step toward ensuring compliance and avoiding an investigation and fines.
